India is the country where the concept of honeymoon originated. It is an age-old tradition in India to arrange a "Bridal Tour". The newlywed couple would go to visit friends and relatives, especially to meet those who have not been able to attend the marriage ceremony. During the nineteenth century, this concept developed in western countries, too. Do you know why we really like the honeymoon period? It is because, during this period, the spouses do not try to reform each other.

Dalhousie:

then Dalhousie should be the first choice. Situated in the northern state of Himachal Pradesh, Dalhousie is 90 km away from Dharamshala. Kulu - Manali

In the Himalayan valley of Kulu, the city of Manali is the favourite destination for tourists who love snow and skating. 

Tourists will find here wonderful opportunities to enjoy their stay in India. You will find here the sun and the wonderful valley view in the summer. You will find snow in the winter season. The skiing facilities are the most alluring aspect of this place. If you want to have undisturbed enjoyment of skiing, do remember to book in advance for an event. 

The hotel accommodation is economical, and no one would find it costly. During the peak summer season, the hotel rates may go high for a couple of weeks. Here international tourists would find luxury accommodation, too. However, those who want budget hotels or cheap hotels would find them easily.

Shimla is the oldest favourite for Indian Tourists. It is the capital city of the State of Himachal Pradesh. 

The city of Shimla is Located at a height of 2200 meters. Shimla was formerly the winter capital of India. Covered by the green and tall trees of Himalayan forests, the city is full of old colonial buildings.

These buildings are built-in Gothic Style of architecture.  After the independence of India in the year 1947, the British people returned to their home in England. But some of the British people had decided to live in India. The city of Shimla is their hometown now. 

Shimla is connected by air, railway and motor road with the mainland of India.

Situated in the eastern part of India, the city of Darjeeling is the favourite centre for tourists who want to know the Bengal. 

It is easily approachable from Kolkata. The place is a tourist attraction since the days when the British Raj was in India.

The city of Darjeeling is situated at the height of 2000 meters in the Himalayan range of mountains.

The city of Darjiling is known for two important things: the view of the mountain Kanchenjangha and the views of the tea plantations. The city is well-connected with mainland India. Hotels are very economic. You can find cheap accommodation here. During the peak season of summer, the hotel charges may go high. That will be for a couple of weeks only.

So if you are a newly married couple, do not think twice. Just book an air ticket to India and enjoy the golden time of your life. The journey to the Indian towns and places will be a life-memorable one.
